2019 Kingston Offshore Fishing Competition
Competitors travelled again from far and wide to enter into the 19th Annual Kingston Offshore Fishing Comp held at Easter in Kingston SE.
67 boats braved the Easter Long weekend competition and despite some challenging weather conditions, there were some great catches weighed in.
Harry Lyon, President of this year’s competition thanked the prize and event sponsors for their ongoing generosity and to the committee and volunteers prior and during the event. He also thanked the competitors for their continued support of the event. Again this year $5 from each entry was donated to the Trent Rothall Support Fund Trust.
Overall winners of the ‘Outstanding Catch’ trophy was boat ‘Black Betty’, skippered by Jordan Richards, who caught 99% of the last 3 years average. Other winners in the competition categories and raffles walked away again with some very impressive prizes of rods, reels, fishing accessories and tackle, vouchers, beer and wine and camping equipment.
Next year marks the 20th year. Stay tuned for competition details as they unfold and subscribe to our mailing list to be the first in the know.
